GOATMEAL LLC — Return & Refund Policy (Perishable Goods)

At GOATMEAL, we take great pride in delivering high-quality, refrigerated food products. Due to the perishable nature of our items, all sales are considered final. However, if there is an issue with your order, we will work with you to make it right under the conditions below.


1. All Food Sales Are Final

Because our products are perishable and require refrigeration:

We cannot accept returns, exchanges, or resell returned food items.

Once a product leaves our facility, it cannot be returned to us for safety reasons.


2. If There Is an Issue With Your Order

We will replace or refund products only in the following circumstances:

  • Packages that arrive damaged

  • Missing items

  • Incorrect items received

  • Products that arrive spoiled due to a shipping or carrier issue

  • Items that arrive warm (temperature abuse)

To file a claim, you must contact us within:

24 hours of delivery confirmation.

This protects both you and us, as refrigerated foods must be addressed immediately.


3. Photo Evidence Required

To process a refund or replacement, please email support@goatmeal.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photos showing:

    • the product(s) in question

    • the shipping box

    • the insulation & ice packs

    • the product condition (if damaged or spoiled)

    • the shipping label

We cannot process claims without photographic documentation.


4. Temperature & Delivery Responsibility

Once the carrier marks a package as delivered, it becomes the customer’s responsibility.

Please ensure you are available to receive refrigerated goods and bring them inside promptly.

We are not responsible for:

  • Packages left outside for extended periods

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses

  • Deliveries refused by the recipient

  • Packages returned to us due to customer error


5. Taste Preferences

We do not issue refunds for:

  • Disliking the flavor

  • Texture preferences

  • Subjective taste issues

  • “Not what I expected” claims

Taste is subjective, and we cannot refund or replace products for personal preference reasons.


6. Order Mistakes & Address Errors

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
We cannot refund orders that are lost or undeliverable due to:

  • Incorrect addresses

  • Missing apartment numbers

  • Changes requested after shipment

  • Customer not being present to receive the delivery

If an order has not shipped yet, email us immediately and we will do our best to assist.


7. Late or Missing Packages

If a package is delayed due to carrier issues (FedEx, UPS, USPS), contact us and we will work with you to find a solution.

However, once a package is in the carrier’s possession, delivery timelines are outside our control.
